David Castiel

After a career encompassing both academia and entrepreneurial high-tech ventures, David is delighted to be able to share his love of math and science with young minds. David holds a PhD in Physics and taught at the college level and pursued research as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of California, Irvine. He also holds several patents related to satellite systems and has published in scientific, technical, and business journals. David’s guiding principle when it comes to teaching and learning is, “If properly taught, Math and Science can be truly enjoyed by everyone.”

 

David’s delighted to be able to continue building confidence and making academic gains in his student’s lives through tutoring in Math and Physics, just as he did with his own three children who are now successful adults. In his spare time, David spends time with his family, including his wonderful wife Cami. He’s a real car buff and enjoys skiing, basketball, oil painting, and of course reading about science.
