College Application Essay Writing and Supplemental Essays

Broder Tutoring Center helps your student brainstorm ideas for a well-written, attention-grabbing essay that sticks out in the applicant pool. Students are asked to complete these essays so admissions officers can make more informed decisions, especially at more competitive colleges and universities. We take the time to get to know your student and find the perfect topic to share with admissions officers.

Common Application 

The Common Application conjures up feelings of angst and fear for some.   Some students struggle to navigate the Common Application and work well with an experienced organizational coach. Broder Tutoring Center helps guide your student through the complexities of the application. This reduces the stress on the student and family so that the application process is a positive experience for everyone.

Practice Interviews

Many colleges require or strongly recommend interviews, but most high school students have limited experience with the interview process. We practice with your student on answering Common Application questions and help them to determine what pertinent information should be included in their answers. We find that by giving mock interviews, it helps students reduce their anxiety and gain confidence in the interviewing process. ​
